This webinar will provide a very gentle introduction to the topic of self-driving, gradually reviewing two most common frameworks for self-driving: classical modular approach that uses precise detailed maps for localisation and planning and end-to-end approach that relies solely on visual sensors. The material presented during the webinar was created for Autonomous Driving Lab project run by University of Tartu researchers in collaboration with Bolt company.
Also potential listeners are encouraged to get acquainted with recently submitted paper that reviews different end-to-end architectures: arxiv.org/abs/2003.06404.
Speaker: Dima Fishman
