Dear friends, we are pleased to invite you for our first online TechTalks@Lohika where we will discuss ØMQ and Distributed applications in Python with our speaker Orest Voloshchuk, Python guru at Lohika.
ZeroMQ (ZMQ, 0MQ) is a messaging framework that can be used to expose an extremely high performance API, set up comms between all of your services to rule them all, and do some borderline weird stuff like thread synchronization and state management in Qt apps. When used correctly, 0MQ can give you free flexible load balancing and scalability coupled with extreme simplicity; when used unwisely, 0MQ will bring you insanity and despair. I have done both and will share the experience with you. After this talk you’re expected to be able to choose (or refrain from) 0MQ for your new project.
Orest has been part of the industry for about ten years. With a token of experience in just about everything (Java IoT, C++ desktop programming, Arduino/ESP8266, Python web programming, C# business tools, services, OLAP interfacing etc), he has a lot of different experience and lifehacks be shared.
The participation is free but we will really appreciate if you make any donation to “Your support” charity fund which gathers money for hospital equipment for covid-19 treatment.
