Service Design Marathon. Crack the code: How one school demystified programming

There’s a huge need for skilled coders, and yet they’re in short supply. Part of the reason for this is that our society has had a very narrow view on what coding is about.

Hive Helsinki coding school was initiated and brought to Finland by Supercell.

Kuudes Design Agency was Hive Helsinki’s main partner in designing a new school. They implemented a customer experience concept (+ identity, digital service and space concept) that was created on customer insights. Susanna will share about the design process and how they managed to change how people see coding.

Susanna Ollila is a widely experienced designer and service design consultant and has experience especially in multi-channel design entities across dozens of clients from the public sector to the private sector. Susanna is currently Head of Service Design at the nordic insight-driven design agency Kuudes.

Join our marathon to learn about best practices in creating innovative human-centred services for customers, users, citizens.

Service designers from all over the world share their experience and will be happy to answer your questions! The minimum of the theory — the maximum of practice! Main event: www.facebook.com/events/544793806223212

Please share the event so that more people learn about human-centred design applications!
