Hackusama is a seven-week online hackathon running until August 14th. In addition to over $30,000 worth of prizes, there are lots of other great rewards, including a device for each of the winners from Hackusama sponsor, Ledger.
Kusama is a network built by Dr. Gavin Wood, Polkadot founder and cofounder and CTO of Ethereum. It's a risk-taking, fast-moving ‘canary in the coal mine’ built with nearly the exact same code as its cousin network, Polkadot. Kusama is a living, breathing, multichain ecosystem built to put the best tech in the hands of change agents to spark innovation, disrupt the status quo, and quickly push the limits of what’s possible.
Hackusama is split into two competition categories: Build a Blockchain and Open Hack.
For hackers and non-technical supporters alike, the hackathon also features a series of webinars with amazing guest speakers, like Jocelyn Weber from the Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator and Ariana Fowler from UNICEF. Parity will be hosting Substrate Seminar, which serves as weekly office hours for developers during Hackusama. Visit the event link to discover more, subscribe to the event schedule and stay in touch with all the activities!

Организатор: Polkadot - Moscow
Welcome to Polkadot, Moscow. This is the place for learning and hacking on Polkadot, a multichain platform that addresses blockchain governance, interoperability, and scalability issues. We will follow Polkadot's development and learn about developing parachains, tools, and DApps for the network.
