Spring Framework is one of the most widespread and successful projects in Java ecosystem. Its core feature — IoC container with DI support for managed objects called Spring beans.
Moreover if you use other popular Spring projects (Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC) then these projects give you Spring integration with underlying technologies and resource management based on IoC/Spring beans.
However Spring framework provides backward compatibility for old Spring projects so it keeps all the legacy ways of beans declarations. So now it’s not so easy to understand which declaration approaches are obsolete and which ones should be used.
In this talk we will dive for 20 years of Spring development and discover how Spring beans feature has evolved. We will also pay special attention for new features delivered in Spring Boot 2/Spring 5.
We will also review best practices/common pitfalls of Spring beans usage.
The speaker is Sergey Morenets, back-end developer with more than 20 years of programming experience, frequent speaker at Java conferences.
This webinar will start on September 15th, at 19:30 EET. You will receive email with live broadcast link two days before the start.
This is online webinar for Java developers of any level.
